So Brighton wasn't for me but I have to say I love Eastbourne. I couldn't live there, I love my little northern town too much but as a holiday place or little somewhere to come to, it's lovely. I love all the white buildings, the fairy lights along the sea, the pier and how it's not as commercial as other seaside places. So I put together a few of my favourite pictures of it and collated it for a style snippet!
Hat: New Look
Jumper: Vintage
Coat: topshop
Jeans: Topshop Leighs
Bag: Edinburgh Museum
Scarf: New Look
Watch out, I bought some new clothes here so yayyy new things to blog about!!
I'll tell a little story to start with. My nan actually moved to Eastbourne with her partner Bill, so thats how I've always known of it. I never got to visit as she moved back to Hartlepool before I was born but I always remember everyone speaking of Eastbourne and how hot it was, how the roads would melt in the summer. I always thought it would be lovely to visit. I got to see where she lived and have a wander around and I much prefer it to Brighton, much more me I think. Anyway, enough about how much I enjoyed it and on to the outfit.
You've seen this look before but hey, I love it, it's comfy and there were nice surroundings. Eastbourne is so warm compared to Hartlepool, those of you who live in the south don't appreciate this warm weather hahaha! Anyway a classic turtle neck and back jeans, I mean how can you go wrong? I love this one because it's this bobbly, teddybear fabric and it's so soft. It's like you're wearing a big blanket. Then I layered it with my rain coat to stop any winds or unexpected showers and my knitwear. I'm hardly ever seen without knitwear, it's just a staple in my wardrobe all year round, especially with northern weather. I think these layers bring a pop of colour to an otherwise neutral outfit!
I really like this look because of how simple it is but you still look like you've put an effort it. I'm really going to miss turtle necks when the summer comes!!
I wanted to add an update in here:
I may be a bit more distance because of some circumstances in my life at the moment. It's quite a hard time and I'm trying to adjust, obviously blogging is my hobby but it's hard to produce good content when you feel a bit shitty. So please bare with me and know that I'm trying!
Whats your go to outfit?
Where have you feel in love with?
Lovely post! The photos are incredible; I'd love to visit some day! Your jumper looks so cosy and warm! I agree, I wear knitwear all year round because it's so cold most of the year!!!

This jumper looks so cozy! I need to add something like it to my collection as well. I truly adore a cozy, warm jumper all year around (well, except for maybe a hot summer day).

ReplyDeleteLove the outfit, and Eastborne looks so pretty. I don't really go anywhere unless it's for an in-the-middle-of-nowhere-walk aha my go to outfit consists of jeans and any 3/4 sleeve length too xx
