As some of you may have seen, I'm in Brighton on a university open day. It's 6 hours away from me so for safe travel and a good time I'm here for the week. I decided to post this a day early just because I have 30 minutes free internet before I start having to pay by however many hours, so I got everything sorted and ready for now! I hope you enjoy.
Shirt: Asos
Jumper: New Look
Scarf: New Look
Coat (Blue): Topshop
Coat (Black): Zara
Jeans: Topshop Leighs
Shoes: Black Converse
Today was my travelling day, so basically I've been sat in the car for 6 hours and comfort was key. I wore my leigh jeans because they are more thin and easier to move around in. I couldn't wear pj bottoms so these came a close second to them! They I layered up; I knew we'd be by the sea so I teamed my scalloped ASOS shirt with my old favourite, New Look jumper. I think the shirt and jumper look is such a classic and always makes you look put together, like you know whats going on when really all you want to do is nap. I love the mustard colour of the jumper because it's more of a pop and stands out from the usual black. As it's coming into spring I'll be adding more pops of colour like this to bring myself out of my winter slump. The scarf and jumper go so well together; the oranges and yellows just make a great combination and I love how colourful I feel.
On the beach I wore my Zara coat because it's really oversized and drapes over my so I can wrap it round me like a big blanket. Then on the pier I wore my waterproof jacket for that just incase. I'd really recommend these waterproof, parker style jackets because they are fitted and easy to wear but also keep you safe from any unexpected showers.
Overall the look I was going for was comfy with a splash of colour so it looks like I've made an effort.
I absolutely love Eastbourne and I went to visit my nan's old apartment; it's so beautiful and warm compared to the north east. I don't know if I will come to uni here because it's so far away and I already love York but watch out for some more posts coming up while I'm here!!
